ABOUT

Hi, I’m Aicha

I’m a multipassionate traveller, creator, educator and naturally curious person who has never been particularly good at being interested in just one thing.

I love travelling and discovering new places, but for me it rarely stops at simply seeing a destination. I want to experience it. I’m curious about the people, the culture, the food, the hospitality, the stories, the businesses and ideas behind the places I visit, and the little details that can turn an ordinary moment into something you remember for years.

That curiosity is at the heart of Travel and Lead.

For me, travel can mean many things. One day I might be experiencing a beautiful hotel or discovering an interesting hospitality concept, and the next I’m trying local street food, exploring a neighbourhood, meeting people or flying my drone because I really want to know what that place looks like from above.

I love exceptional hospitality and special experiences, but I’m just as interested in authentic local experiences and discovering what gives a destination its own character.

Travel Meets Professional Experience

My interest in hospitality isn’t limited to my travels. I have worked in education for more than two decades and currently work as an expert educator within hospitality-focused vocational education, where I teach, develop education and support students preparing for careers across aviation, hotels, tourism and service. My role also includes supporting and coaching fellow educators and contributing to the continued development of our education.

That professional background has naturally shaped the way I experience travel. I can enjoy a hotel, airport, restaurant or travel experience simply as a guest, while at the same time noticing the service, atmosphere, communication, design, guest journey and all those smaller details that influence how an experience actually feels.

It’s one of the reasons why hospitality research and experience reviewing have become an important part of Travel and Lead alongside content creation and storytelling.

Creating, Learning & Exploring

Being multipassionate also means I’m almost always learning something new. My interests have taken me into content creation, storytelling and content marketing, personal development and entrepreneurship. I’m also a Drone Pilot, which has given me another way to explore and capture destinations, and occasionally a very good reason to plan an experience around getting that particular view from above.

I’m fascinated by how ideas become experiences, how businesses and hospitality concepts are created and how people around the world approach entrepreneurship, service and innovation. That’s why Travel and Lead continues to evolve with me.

Today, it brings together many of the things I genuinely enjoy:

Travel · Hospitality · Food · Culture · Experiences · Lifestyle · Entrepreneurship

Through my work as a Travel Content Creator, Experience Reviewer and Hospitality Researcher, I share what I experience, create content around the places and stories I discover and explore hospitality from both the perspective of a traveller and someone with a professional interest in the industry.

Where Travel and Mastermindsz Meet

My multipassionate nature also led me to create Mastermindsz, a concept centred around growth, curiosity, connection, action and experiencing more out of life.

And sometimes these two worlds come together.

Through Travel Masterminds and the Mastermindsz Travel Experience, travel becomes an opportunity not only to discover somewhere new, but also to create space for your own ideas, goals and ambitions. Because I don’t believe working towards something meaningful and enjoying life have to be two separate things.

You can work on an idea, develop professionally, build something of your own or take action towards a personal goal, and still explore somewhere beautiful, eat incredible food, laugh, meet people, experience new things and come home with stories worth sharing.

That combination probably describes me pretty well too.

A Few Things About Me

I’m usually at the airport far earlier than necessary, and I actually like it. A pre-flight glass of bubbles in the airport lounge has somehow become my little “Lucky Bubbles” tradition. I’m always up for a new adventure or experience, especially when it involves trying something I’ve never done before. I love beautiful hotels, but I can be equally happy discovering local food and places I didn’t plan to find. I’m a drone pilot and regularly wonder what a destination looks like from above. And however much of the world I discover, there always seems to be somewhere else I’m curious about.

That is probably why Travel and Lead feels so much like me.

Create · Explore · Connect · Grow.

Extraordinary travel. Meaningful experiences. Stories worth sharing.
