Books I Recommend

There’s almost always a book somewhere in my luggage.

On the plane, in an airport lounge, stretched out on the beach or during a quiet evening in my hotel room, I love the idea of having a book with me for those moments when everything slows down and I finally have time to read, reflect or simply get inspired.

Now, honesty requires me to admit that not every book I take on a trip actually gets opened. Sometimes the itinerary wins and that beautifully planned reading moment never happens. But I still bring one… just in case that perfect little zen moment decides to show up.

And yes, I know. I have e-books on my phone and iPad. It would be lighter, easier and considerably more sensible. Yet somehow, I still prefer travelling with an actual book. I love turning the pages, highlighting the parts that stay with me and going back to something that made me think.

So this is my little collection of books that have inspired me, challenged my thinking, taught me something, or simply earned themselves a spot in my suitcase.

Some travelled further than they were read. But they came along anyway.
